The One That Starts Very Well

Namely, the day started with Florence + the Machine's new live album from the MTV Unplugged series.

I love most of the arrangements.

And then there was nobody to hug me.

At least a ball of strawberries with whipped cream and a glass of wine provide some consolation...

The One With The Most Candid, Genuine, Sincere Smile In Ages

It was me who was smiling.

And - who would have thought? - all that euphoria due to raking and forking some hay...
I think I should do stuff like that more often. It makes me nostalgic, but in a good way: the Summer days I spent in the countryside as a child flash before my eyes - the haystacks, cart-riding, exploring barns, tree-climbing, picking apples and berries...
Today was not all about nostalgia, though. I think (hope) it was also about making friends. I believe (hope) that somewhere on the way, throughout countries and over years, I have finally acquired this ability to make friends consciously. (I do not mean I choose a person I want to be friends with; rather I choose to be friends with a person I happened to encounter. Making some effort to achieve this goal is actually easy - finding courage to do so is, as always, the hardest part.)

The One With Too Much Twilight

Another movie night themed films-you-need-to-watch-by-yourself-to-be-uptodate-with-current-trends. In other words: the blockbusters everyone (especially teenagers) loves; or at least they love to talk about them. You are not really sure why, though, since it is rather obvious the films may be pretty and technically perfect, but it still does not change the fact that they are based on crappy youth novels.
So camp attitude is your only choice if you want to endure this kind of show and have some fun while watching. Of course, it also requires a bunch of friends who - and that is important! (so that you won't have to hold your tongue) - share your approach.

The counter-theory says you just get used to and lower your expectations.

Anyhow, what I actually love about each part of the saga is the music. And that means both the score and soundtrack, as you can see. I listen to scores when I need some background music; I listen to soundtracks while jogging (most soundtracks are generally great for that) or when in need of some musical diversion.

The One With Jazz

I only knew Henryk Miśkiewicz by his daughter, Dorota. However, I never say 'no' to live jazz... So when the opportunity presented itself, I seized it.
I liked the music, I did not like the place - Milestone Jazz Club (too fancy, part of a hotel).
