The One With The Kaleidoscope And Smurfs, Winnie The Pooh And Scooby Doo Too

---

Nowadays children mostly do not know what a kaleidoscope is. They do not play with such simple toys, they are used to much sophisticated, usually electronic ones.

Isn't that a bit sad? How are they supposed to learn appreciating little things, enjoying small moments of pleasure when we do not teach them that, we do not let them?

---

A colleague of mine told me a story how he used to love watching Smurfs when he was a kid. The point was the TV his family owned was black&white. So it wasn't until he became a teenager that he was made aware by his friends that Smurfs were actually blue.

What a twist. Not sure if I envy him the surprise or pity him for missing on the colours.

I saw a woman with a really nice tattoo. It pictured Winnie the Pooh. The Pooh Bear was chasing a bee (or a butterfly, I could not tell from a distance).

Have I mentioned that there is a Winnie the Pooh Street in Wieliczka? Every time I pass by it I smile and regret it is not the street I live at.

M (Zuza's Mom): What is Scooby Doo?
Z (a 3-year-old): He is Scooby Doo.
M: But what is he? Is he a cat?
Z: No.
M: Is he a mouse?
Z: No.
M: Is he a dog?
Z: No.
M: No?! What is he then?
Z: He is Scooby Doo!!

I totally agree. Scooby Doo is one of a kind and there is no other dog like him.

Stay tuned.
